Business Workshop
At the last stage of the OLYMPUS project, we are organizing a business workshop to present the technology and project results from a business perspective, towards the possible exploitation.
The workshop is addressed to C-level individuals of companies and organizations with a vested interest in Identity Management solutions and strong privacy concerns.
The workshop is online on October 27th 15:00 – 17:00 CEST and attendance is free of charge, subject to registration.

Future of PI Workshop
The Future of PI workshop takes place on 2021-09-06, co-located with EuroS&P 2021.
The goal of this workshop is to bring together academic researchers from various IdM-related domains, as well as practitioners, to improve the understanding of the current state and directions of IdM research, and identify open challenges towards secure and usable solutions. Discussions are fostered by a combination of selected and invited talks delivered by recognized experts in their respective fields, who review current digital IdM systems, highlight shortcomings in existing approaches, and identify new paths to resolve them. The talks will be complemented by a panel discussion on a topic identified as particularly pressing: user privacy.

The International Workshop on Advances on Privacy Preserving Technologies and Solutions (IWAPS 2021) will be held from August 17 to August 20, 2021, in conjunction with the 16th International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES 2021)

Workshop
The OLYMPUS project has organized a workshop at the IFIP Summer School on Privacy and Identity Management that took place in Brugg/Windisch, Switzerland on August 20, 2019. The workshop consisted of three presentations given by ALX, UMU and IBM. The first two talks presented the currently available technologies in form of Single-Sign-On (SSO) and Privacy-Enhancing Credentials (P-ABC) and discussed their advantages and disadvantages. The final presentation then sketched how the OLYMPUS project aims to combine the convenience of SSO and the privacy of P-ABC by using the approach of a distributed and oblivious identity provider.
